History of the Great Miami River Canoe Trip

Trip departs from Treasure Island Boathouse. Our guides will take you on a spell
binding tour of the Great Miami River. Approximate time of the tour is three
hours. To register please call the Miami County Park District’s program office

The Annual Mayor’s Float

$3.00 per person if you bring your own canoe or kayak.

Meet at the Troy Aquatic Park and we will bus you up north to the Canoe drop in
point. Cookout and swim at the Troy Aquatic Park after the float.

Will consist of a 2.5 Mile scenic canoe on the Great Miami River. Following a 17
mile bike leg, mostly on country roads north of Troy. Finishing with a 4 mile
run, across the river and along the Great Miami River.
Treasure Island will serve as the main hub and transitions area for all 3 legs
of the event.
